New YouTube Monetization Policy: Video creators will need 10,000 lifetime views to make money


The YouTube Partner Program (YPP) was first created in 2007.Now a day YouTube grow super-fast day by day but on the other hand abuse where great, original content is re-uploaded by others who try to earn revenue from it.There are hundreds of thousands of channels are terminated by YouTube because they violate YouTube Policy.


YouTube take further steps to protect creators and make huge change on YouTube Partner Program (YPP). From Thursday, April 6, 2017YouTube will no longer serve ads on YPP videos until the channel reaches 10k lifetime views.


Earnings made by channels less than 10k views will be taken in consideration till today. Once new channel will now reach the threshold of 10000 views on their channel they can apply to join YouTube partner program(YPP) .Then YouTube team will review the whole activity of his video & source of traffic and once the channel found genuine , it will be approved for monetization.
