Realme 2 With Fingerprint Sensor, 4230mAh Battery, Notched Display, Launched in India: Oppo’s sub-brand Realme has launched Realme 2, successor to the Realme 1 in India. This is the second smartphone from the company and comes with several new features such as a fingerprint sensor, notch display, and a dual camera set up at the back.
The Realme 2 comes with the company’s trademark diamond cut back design similar to the Realme 1. However, it comes with new feature and other improvements in terms of hardware, camera, and display over the first smartphone.
Realme 2: Specifications
The Realme 2 comes with a 6.2-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution. The smartphone sports a 19:9 aspect ratio with notch display on top. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 450 processor with two variants 3GB RAM with 32GB storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage. The smartphone has a dedicated microSD memory card slot. The smartphone sports a fingerprint sensor on the back side.

In terms of the camera , the smartphone comes with a dual rear camera setup with a 13MP primary sensor and a secondary 2MP sensor for depth effects. On the front, there is a 16MP front camera with AI shot beautification mode. The front camera also supports face unlock feature as well.

The Realme 2 is powered by a massive 4,230mAh battery. The smartphone runs ColorOS 5.1 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. In terms of connectivity, Realme 2 comes with a dual-SIM include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3.5mm headphone jack.
Realme 2: Price and launch Offers
Realme 2 comes with two variants – 3GB RAM with 32GB storage at the price tag of Rs. 8,990 and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage model costs Rs. 10,990. The Realme 2 comes in Diamond Red, Black, and Blue colour variants exclusive on Flipkart.
The Diamond Red and Black colour variants will go on sale from September 4 via Flipkart. While the Diamond Blue colour will be made available in October. Oppo’s sub-brand Realme is also planning to launch a pro version of the device as well.
Let’s talk about launch offers, the smartphone will be available with Rs. 750 discount on HDFC Bank credit and debit cards. Reliance Jio will also give 120GB additional data and worth Rs. 4,500 benefits as well.
