If you are a YouTube Creators and have 10k+ subscribers then it’s a good news for you. As we know google owned YouTube has supported live streaming of video through computers for about six years but live streaming is not available for mobile devices. You can see lots of third-party app on play-store for live streaming on YouTube but none of them useful according to my own experience and its a official updates as well.
YouTube opens mobile live streaming to creators with over 10,000 subscribers and also launch paid ‘Super Chat’ feature. It will make more smoother experience to the YouTube creators and help to make more engagement with subscribers.
Now lets talk about ‘Super Chat’ feature,it provide a new way for fans and creators to interact during live streams.Fans can buy Super Chats to highlight their messages with different color and pinned in the ticker for a set period of time, depending on the amount selected within the live stream.
“It’s a launch that’ll put the power of live streaming in the hands of hundreds of thousands of talented creators, giving them a more intimate and spontaneous way to share their thoughts, lives and creativity,” Macdonald and Wilms said in a blog post.
