Garena Free Fire is a wonderful battle royale game along with 53 more Chinese apps banned by India Government. In 2020, India Government banned a total of 270 apps. While there is no official list of the banned apps yet, media reports by ET Now and ANI have confirmed that 54 more apps have been banned by the government.
Free Fire Banned in India
“Garena’s Free Fire: Illuminate,” which has already been removed from both Google Play Store and Apple’s App Store in India. But still, you can download Garena Free Fire Max from Playstore.
According to Krafton: “Battlegrounds’ patented distinctive game-opening ‘airdrop’ element, the game structure and play, the combination and selection of weapons, armor, and unique items, locales, and the overall choice of color schemes, materials, and textures,”
Free Fire Banned in India – Official News
Now information received from Garena officials regarding the Garena Free Fire ban in India along with 53 more apps.
From 12th February players raised a lot of issues spotted on this along with lagging, network error, and login problems.
Garena free fire officials state that
“We are aware that Free Fire is currently unavailable in the Google Play and iOS app stores in India and that the game is currently not operable for some users in the country. We are working to address this situation, and we apologize to our users for any inconvenience.”

After the PUBG ban in India, they no alternative option but Free Fire has almost the same alternative options called Free Fire Max. Although Free Fire Max requires a minimum of 4GB for what is considered a “decent performance”, adding enhanced graphical details, improved player and weapon animations, and better draw distances that help you see farther enemies clearly while sniping.
