The announcement of FFIC 2022’s spring season was announced today as was an updated structure as well as schedule. Free Fire India Championship 2022 Spring Structure and Prize Pool

In the latest and most current Version that is FFIC 2022, Garena increased the amount of money awarded by 33% over the previous year’s 75 Lakhs INR. The prize amount for FFIC 2022 is 1 million Indian rupees. Not only teams from India but, groups from Nepal are as well expected to be part of the competition. The event starts on February 7th and ends on February 11, 2022.

The teams that made it to the finals of the FFPL 2021 Winter i.e. Chemin Esports and Total Gaming Esports also secured their spots to this year’s FFIC Spring. Six teams at the top spots have gone straight into the league stage. Teams who finished 7th-12th have been selected for this stage of closed qualification.

FFIC 2022 rules

Stage 1 (Open Qualifications): The open qualifying rounds for the tournament are the first stage in which the teams that are been registered will depart to be certified to participate in the next phase of the tournament.

Stage 2 (Closed Qualifiers): The closed qualifiers comprise a total of six teams of open qualifiers. They include those teams who finished the seventh-12th in FFPL 2021 Winter Finals.

Stage 3 (Main Main Event): Main Event includes The League Stage, the Play-Ins, as well as the finals. The top 12 teams in closed qualifiers and six teams who are competing in the FFPL: Winter Finals will participate during League Stage. Teams that are among the top 6 teams at this stage will progress to the Grand Finals, while the teams from seventh to 18th place will be playing in play-ins to compete for the remaining six spots.

The first official event for the Free Fire India Champion 2022 Spring Split will commence promptly. Registration will begin 7 February starting at 9:00 AM IST and it will run over four consecutive days. The last day to enroll for the contest is on February 11 at 8:00 PM IST.

Each group that has signed up is required to participate at the Open Qualifiers also known as FFC Mode. The game day for FFC Mode qualifiers is scheduled to start on the 11th of February 2022 between 4:00 pm till 8 midnight IST. Each team will receive 10 tickets during registration, and each ticket will be only valid for one match. Only the top 5 scores of a team will be used to determine the overall ratings.

There will be 42 teams selected by FFC Setting for the shut qualifying rounds, where they will be placed in the 7th-12th rated teams of FFPL (Free Fire Pro Organization) 2021 Wintertime finals.

The top 12 teams of those who qualified for the close qualifiers will move to the stage of organization which joins the best six groups of FFPL 2021’s Winter season.

  • All player’s ages must be 16 or even more by 2022.
  • All players must have citizenship of India as well as Nepal only.
  • Before signing up, every player must be ranked at a level of 40 and have the Diamond 1 ranking as well as a rank point of 2538.
  • Teams must contain a minimum of five and up to six players.
